Song of the Day: "Younger"

You know it's been a stressful week when I'm posting music to the blog (it's a pretty good sign that I'm procrastinating work stuff). And it's really bad when it's just blah music like this week's run of songs.

Sadly the new Mountain Goats isn't really bucking that trend.

Boo.

Song of the Day: "Peace"

Peace? Piece of shit is more like it.

Okay, that's totally unfair and really harsh. Mediocre as it might be, it's not a piece of shit.

At least not a very large one.

Song of the Day: "Enough"

I am a fan of Fantasia. It's documented and true.

So imagine my disappointment that her new song is devoid of charm, quality, interesting music, tempo; it's like a Peter Cetera song and a Melissa Manchester song had a baby and then left it somewhere because it was so fucking forgettable.

Song of the Day: "Blame It On My Youth"

In times past I have enthused wildly (or mildly, but still, enthused) over Blink-182. Today is not one of those times.

Instead of blaming it on the youth of men in their 40s, I am instead blaming it on their egregious use of autotune. And it's worse than the egregious use, it's that it was to create a really boring song.

A great single I could accept. This isn't even a B- grade.
