Barbra Streisand's 35th album, with the cumbersome title Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, seems like a mess. It's chock full of talent which, as we've discussed before, isn't always good. Listen to Streisand, Anne Hathaway, Daisy Ridley and Barbra Streisand's vanity tackle a poignant piece from A Chorus Line, draining it of tenderness and leaving its dried carcass in the middle of some road to nowhere.
Please note: this is the actual single from the album.
Why am I posting it? Because I wanted to hear Daisy Ridley sing. Why else?
Song: "At the Ballet"
