Song of the Day: "Keep Them Kisses Comin'"

Bro Country strikes back. But without gratuitous shirtless photos.

I might correct that later, after the doctor's office.

Song of the Day: "You & Me"

I'm always confused with the electronic/dance music peeps who get guest artists to provide vocals. But I guess figuring that out isn't super hard with the Wikipedias and whatnots.

So this is Disclosure, the band, with Eliza Doolittle (no relation) the singer being the singing person.

I'll tell them you said hey.

Song of the Day: "I Try to Talk to You"

Andy Butler of
Hercules & the Love Affair
Okay, first, I'm not selecting this for song of the day because Andy Butler is a hot furry little fucker with an unfortunate tattoo and a dorky look on this face in this photo... but all that stuff is true.

Second, yeah I kinda am. I mean, the song's okay, but I'm not sufficiently drunk or spun at this moment to really take to this song in a way that would make me shout "I LOVE THIS SONG!!!" to my friends in a sea full of shirtless tambourining gay men at 4:30 in the morning. But that doesn't mean that wouldn't happen. Especially if wickedly mixed between like Act or New Order and No Doubt.

I'm gay, not dead.

Yet.

Oh, and that reminds me, Scott Stapp, you owe me a bottle of poppers.

Song of the Day: "Everyday Robots"

At the end of this year I will either be crazy in love with this song, full of loathing for this song, or have forgotten about it completely. If you think that covers all possible outcomes, you're forgetting the "remembered and largely indifferent" or "kinda like it but not love" (like a Foals song, for example).

If you're following my early onset Alzheimer's, you'll know that my forgetting about it is the safe money.
