Clueless 2: Electric Boogaloo

Sarah Palin is being teh smart by making fun of her critics on her Facebook page:

To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow -- the first second’s tip-off -- your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. You won’t win only playing defense, so get on offense! The crossfire is intense, so penetrate through enemy territory by bombing through the press, and use your strong weapons – your Big Guns – to drive to the hole. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win.

You see, "some folks" thought that her use of gun imagery (both words and visuals) in an earlier post encouraging people to continue to fight to, um, deny infants medical coverage for "pre-existing conditions" and other despicable acts committed by insurance companies to maintain their massive profit were inappropriate in a climate of heightened tensions and threats of violence.

And you might expect a woman who gets so fucking insanely pissy every fucking time she thinks someone is saying something about her or her family (here, here, here) would be more sensitive about that.

But that would be retarded.

That would be as stupid as pretending your grandchild is your own kid.

That would be as brazenly opportunistic as someone who quits halfway through a job just to take advantage of huge money but pretends it's what's best for others.

I hope she doesn't shoot herself in the foot with those comments. That they don't backfire on her. That... no wait, I actually I do.

Also, she's a fucking idiot.
